BRUNTON'S GLOSSARY OF BINOCULAR TERMS

• FOGPROOF - A feature where the binocular body cavity is filled with nitrogen gas and completely sealed. Nitrogen does not condense, therefore the binocular will not fog internally due to extreme temperature change.

• WATERPROOF - A feature where the binocular body cavity is filled with nitrogen gas and completely sealed, preventing moisture from entering the binocular.
