First Impressions: this unit has the feel and look of quality and professionalism. A rubber handle is large enough to fit naturally in the palm of the hand. The handle is covered with a comfortable feeling rubber cushion layer.

The Probe's Handle Section Is Hollowed To Hold A Standard 9-Volt Alkaline Battery. The handle is sealed with a specially designed watertight sealing knob. The end-knob is large enough for easy turning with one hand and features a lanyard hole.

The unit makes a slight sound; this is do to the mechanics inside that causes the vibration. The vibration is easy to detect and at a comfortable level while holding; but not extreme.

There is a label on the unit that gives the basic operational instructions. Not much to the operation. Hold it upright, the unit turns on. Now search the loose soil in the hole you just made with your trowel. We highly recommend investing in a high quality recovery trowel. With some practice and use, you will spend more time searching than digging for those small treasures!

It's raining today and its a cold Wisconsin day. Yes, this probe is waterproof, but it's too cold for a field test today. A long time customer of Casanova's and myself will be taking the probe out for a day of park searching. We have been researching old city maps for old Milwaukee County parks to search while field testing.

Absolute Must For Copper Nugget Hunting! Mr. Gene Casanova's Copper Prospecting Expedition, Into The World's Riches Copper Fields And Ghost Copper Mining Region, Yielded Some Interesting Native Copper Nuggets, And Natural Silver And Copper Vein Mixed Large Rock Deposit Specimens.
